JORD Watch Review

Disclosure:  I was not compensated for this post, but I did receive product in exchange for a blog review.  As always, my opinions are my own and I promise to be honest in my thoughts.

Alright, friends.  It’s about time I got this review posted!  Get it?  About TIME.  Today I’m talking about the JORD wood watch I received to enjoy and review for all of you.

Right out of the gate one of my favorite things about this company was the ease of which I was able to order my watch.  I chose the Ely Series in Black because I love the combo of brown and black and figured it would pair well with a lot of my current jewelry and clothing pieces.  One thing I hate about buying most jewelry online is that you won’t know how it fits until it arrives.  And in the case of watches, you usually have to then bring it to a jeweler to have it sized properly.  Not the case with JORD!  For an additional $10 (well worth it in my mind, to avoid an extra trip to the jeweler), you can use their handy PDF measuring tool to help you measure your wrist and choose the right size for your watch.  Sweet, right?!

The watch came in a wooden box, wrapped around an adorable herringbone pillow (see first photo above) and I loved it immediately.  It’s lightweight, the face isn’t too big for my liking and it fit perfectly, thanks to that handy measuring tool.

The clasp is a push button, so it’s very easy to get on and off, but it doesn’t just come undone like some other watches.  The face is scratch-resistant and the watch is splash-proof, but not water-resistant or waterproof.  I’ve been wearing my watch for several weeks now and have had no issues with water damage, from splashing or otherwise.  image4 (2)

My favorite part of the watch is the styling.  It goes perfectly with my recent switch to a more boho-inspired waredrobe, and like I said earlier, matches both brown and black.  I love how unique the wood design is and I receive countless compliments every time I’m wearing it!

I’d be remiss to not mention price point, which is $129 for this particular watch and very reasonable in my opinion.  There are definitely more expensive styles in their collection, like this Cora Series watch in turquoise, which I loooove.

Your turn…Would you wear a wood watch?  Which style is up your alley?  How much do you love that turquoise one?!
