Tis the Season for A Self Care Challenge

Happy Friday, friends! I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving filled with lots of delicious food and absolutely no guilt or shame. From this point on, the holiday season seems to quickly become jam-packed with shopping, family get-togethers and so much running around. Sometimes it feels hard to catch your breath…am I right?

This year, let’s celebrate by taking some time each day to take care of ourselves….with my 12 Day Self Care Challenge! Get the details below and be sure to sign up to join!

What is the self care challenge?

12 days of self-care challenges, delivered to your inbox, beginning December 1st and ending on December 12th.

How much does it cost?

Nothing! This is a totally FREE challenge to help you focus on yourself and a few minutes of self-care each day.

What can i expect?

  • Daily e-mails with simple challenges to bring your self-care back into focus, including suggestions for slowing down, experiencing gratitude and being more present.
  • A partner (or a few) to complete the challenge right alongside you!
    • Follow me @KimHobanRD on Instagram and stories to see how I’ll be taking the challenges on myself too!
    • Use #12DaysOfSelfCare and tag me @KimHobanRD to interact and show me (and others in the challenge) what you’re up to!

What will I get out of it?

A small (or maybe big) sense of peace, calm and gratitude during an otherwise hectic holiday season. You know how when you fly, the attendants instruct you to put your own oxygen mask on before assisting others with theirs? There is a reason! We’re better equipped to take care of others when we take care of ourselves first. You have to fill your cup so you can pour into others!

Where can I SIGN UP?

Great question! Click HERE to get signed up. I’m so excited you’ll be joining me!

Happy Registered Dietitian Nutritionist Day 2017!

Happy Registered Dietitian Nutritionist Day 2017!

Happy Registered Dietitian Nutritionist Day! Celebrated on March 8th, during National Nutrition Month, today is a day to honor the work of Registered Dietitians out there working to make the world a healthier, happier place.

Last year on RDN Day, I shared some of my favorite posts from dietitian bloggers. This year, I’m back to spread the nutrition blogger love again, plus add in some podcasts hosted by dietitians. First, check out my most popular nutrition posts from the past year: Shakeo-ing My HeadSharing My Meal Prep Secrets and Not Ready to Ditch The Scale? Here Are Some Things You Can Do.

I have a few more fun ones coming at ya this month in honor of National Nutriton Month, but for now let’s showcase some of my colleagues. This roundup includes my fave dietitians who are out there keeping it real, navigating the murky waters of the nutrition field and helping people find their happiest, healthiest selves.
